About Me
About me:
I am an eight grade girl with an aspiring dream and passion for music, dancing and art. I spend my time writing songs, listening to music, drawing or sketching, painting and sometimes even learning a new dance. I like to study new languages, and I am currently learning German, Portuguese, and Korean. It is quite tough but, I know I can learn a certain language if I study it hard enough. I do aspire to learn to play an instrument, such as the piano or guitar. I am currently attending Mendez Fundamental Intermediate.
What Have I learned About Myself In These 3 Months? For my short term goal, I have learned that in order to ease my stress and anxiety, writing music or listening to music by my favourite artists usually helps. Letting out my emotions and what I feel helps me ease down and relax. I guess because all the bottled up feelings are being released through an emotional piece of music.
My medium-term goal, to stop procrastinating, is still an issue for me. I do not plan to change this goal anytime soon though, as procrastinating has a negative impact on my health and stress levels. For my long term goal, I am slowly making progress. I know how to introduce myself in Korean and already know the general basis of the Korean language (한글), along with a few other phrases. Though it is quite tough for me to remember the alphabet at times, I am getting there. I have also been progressing on German (Deutsch), but not as much as I have been with Korean. I do plan on working on Portuguese again, since I have not really studied that language in a while. My MAP Score and What I Will do to Improve itSo this year on my MAP test I scored 231, which is pretty good in my opinion. I grew by one point, getting 230 in the Summer testing. I'm quite proud for getting a score like that. But I wanna improve by two, score 233 this time, or maybe higher. I'll make sure to read the text more carefully when it comes to the text based questions in the next test. I think I did pretty well though because the test was tough but I improved by one point.
